Struggling with stubborn fat? You’re not alone.
We see it all the time—healthy, active people frustrated by small pockets of fat that just won’t shift. Whether it’s under the chin, around the bra line, or lower belly, these areas can hold on despite exercise and diet. At our fat dissolving injections clinic in Windsor, we don’t just treat fat—we support real people with real bodies.
Fat dissolving injections like AQUALYX and DESO are designed for exactly this: the little areas that don’t budge—not full-body weight loss. If you’re searching for the best fat dissolving treatment to target those specific zones, we take the time to get to know your concerns, explain everything clearly, and only treat what’s right for you. If it’s not a good match, we’ll tell you honestly. That’s how we build trust.
Both DESO & Aqualyx fat dissolving injections disrupt and destroy fat cells in the tissue, making them the perfect agent to remove stubborn pockets of fat. Regardless of which method you choose, the results will be nothing short of transformative!
When treating the body, you’ll see an improvement in localised fat reduction and skin firmness. When treating the face, you’ll see drainage of excess fluids and reduced localised fat. Areas that can be treated include a double chin, the arms, abdomen, buttocks, inner knees, thighs, and back or bra rolls. Depending on the area treated and the amount of fat involved, several sessions may be required to achieve your desired result.
What’s the difference between DESO and Aqualyx? There are two main differences: the size of the target areas and the way the body removes the fat.
If you’re looking to target very small and specific pockets of fat on your body, Aqualyx fat dissolving injections are a better choice. It’s most effective at treating smaller areas of localised fat and is great as a non-invasive alternative to liposuction. However, the swelling and bruising from DESO fat dissolving injections are less than those from Aqualyx injections.
Additionally, the way your body processes and flushes the fat is different. Aqualyx breaks down membranes of fat cells so they can exit the body via your lymphatic system, while DESO’s formula breaks down fats into the intestines. If you have concerns about your liver or lymphatic system, consult with your doctor prior to beginning either DESO or Aqualyx fat dissolving injections.
After your fat dissolving injections, you might notice swelling, tenderness, or mild bruising. That’s completely normal and usually settles in a few days. Most of our Windsor clients return to daily life straight away—just skip the gym or sauna for a few days.
Full results develop gradually over a few weeks as your body naturally flushes out the dissolved fat. Some areas, like the chin or neck, may need more than one session—we’ll talk this through during your consultation. We’ll also be there for any questions, every step of the way.
Curious about fat dissolving injections before and after 1 treatment? We’ll show you real results during your visit so you know exactly what to expect.

Whether it’s your first treatment or you’ve tried others before, you’ll always be treated like a person, not a procedure.
Aqualyx is a non-surgical fat minimization and removal solution to address localized pockets of fat. If you exercise regularly and maintain a healthy diet, but have areas of stubborn fat that just refuse to go away, this is the treatment for you!
Aqualyx can be administered to the following areas:
The Aqualyx technique involves injecting a solution of phosphatidylcholine – a natural substance, which when administered in high doses, can cause the destruction of fat cells – into your localised fat deposits. If you already maintain a stable weight and enjoy a healthy diet and regular exercise regimen, Aqualyx should lead to a permanent reduction of fatty tissue.
DESO is a state-of-the-art fat-dissolving injectable that treats many of the same areas as Aqualyx, but can also address fat deposits on the buttocks, inner knee, and back. DESO is formulated with the active ingredient sodium deoxycholate, which is proven to reduce fat deposits by naturally breaking down dietary fats in your intestines to be absorbed by the body.
DESO can be specially formulated for the face or the body and can address the following problem areas:
The DESO technique involves an injection of sodium deoxycholate that will prompt the body to begin breaking down fat at the injection sites and flushing it out of your body through your liver. You should begin to see results in the early days, including a permanent reduction in fatty tissue.
Fat dissolving injections work by disrupting and destroying fat cells in the tissue, this makes it a perfect agent to remove stubborn pockets of fat. The localised fat is reduced, and the skins firmness is improved. Fat dissolving can be done in several areas including the chin, arms, abdomen, buttocks, inner knees, thighs, back and bra rolls. We use Deso Face , Deso Body and Aqualyx.
Fat Dissolving Injections work to help you achieve a more contoured body, with a healthy diet and regular exercise results are permanent as the main ingredient – Deoxycholic acid- will permanently kill the fat cell.
You will begin to see visible results 4 weeks after treatment, with full results being seen approximately 8 weeks after your initial appointment.
Depending on the area treated and the amount of fat involved, we recommend for optimal results that you have 2 – 5 sessions that are 3 – 6 weeks apart.
Fat dissolving injections typically take 30 – 60 minutes to administer.
After fat dissolving injections you can return to work immediately, you may have mild bruising and swelling after treatment, however this will gradually fade within 6 – 9 days. We recommend that you avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours. We offer further aftercare advice at the appointment.
It’s completely normal. Hormones, age, and genetics can cause fat to collect in certain spots—especially under the chin, love handles, or lower belly. These areas often don’t respond to diet or exercise. That’s where targeted treatments like DESO or AQUALYX fat dissolving injections come in.
Possibly, yes. Smaller areas like the chin may only need one or two sessions, but areas like the stomach or neck often need more. We’ll give you a realistic plan during your consultation so there are no surprises.
Most clients say it’s more uncomfortable than painful. We use local anaesthetic to help with any sting. Swelling is the most common side effect, especially in the first 48 hours, but we’ll guide you through aftercare and what to expect.
Fat dissolving injections are great for contouring, not weight loss. They work best on small, stubborn areas that just won’t budge. If you're looking for full-body results, we’ll happily advise on other options too.
